| Well well well, interesting fact about Tennant in this newsarticle! Thank you to irda for pointing it out to me! ;) It's such a sunny and wonderful day out, I'm gonna have to do something fun after work, eat icecream and bum around. The best thing to do in sunny weathers! :P In other news, I just twitter (damn you irda for luring me into another addiction!), so if anyone is on there and interested, here is my profile. - Location:work

| Bwahahaha! I googled deppo for the first time and this is one of the insane things that came up. Apparantly I'm a human male who enjoys working on machines. It's friday, I've overeaten at Salatbarinn and now I'm bored. If I continue being bored I'll probably be tempted to go to bed early again.... :P | |

| I've been bellydancing now for approx. 2 months I guess, and I -suck- at it, really, I feel like I have two BROKEN left feet. But I still just signed up for another month, cause I love it non the less. I'm not really doing cause I think I'll win competitions with my amazing shimmy action, it's fun and it's about the only sport I actually can be bothered to do (apart from swimming which I also love). I'm starting to be glad I didn't sign up for the pole-dancing classes, I probably would have broken something, including the teachers brain. I'm on a facebook-insanity at the moment, completely addicted to it, and to the fun applications. I can well understand why some companies close the connection to it, it's so hard to spend wayyyy to much time on there. Not really even sure what I do, I just wake up an hour later and wonder WTF I've been wasting my time with (wow, this sentence could describe more than one aspect of my life...). I really need to read Egilssaga again, that was such a great saga. I also need to find the name of the þáttur that I once read about a woman that worshiped a horse penis and made all the people at the farm worship it and make up vísur for it. That was so hillarious. I am guilty of having gone to the bookmarket at Perlan but I was very very good and only bought a few books, which can not be said for olgzz and her mom, who went a bit insane in there. Understandably really. I even got a birthday present or two for nixchall so if you ever read this - when is your birthday again? lol! - Location:Home

| I had a very interesting meeting with an Icelandic girl yesterday, she's doing a thesis (a final paper in media studies) on facebook addicts and olgzz pointed her to me (me, an addict? nooooo). She took an interview with me, which was supposed to be approx. 15 minutes long, we ended up in deep discussions on art, society, the media and even postmodernism for a few hours. Rather surprising seeing as I've only met her once before, and that was last weekend at olgzz 's gratuation party. I actually quite liked her, I don't often meet people that I agree so much with, lol! I also love meeting new people, especially people who you feel comfortable enough to be yourself around and say what you feel around as well. It didn't even stop me that she was taping the whole conversation, here's hoping she edits the interview a bit before publishing it, lol! I've rediscovered my Wow -addiction, I've lvled Skelfir up to 74, lvled Angurboða up as well; created a new Draenei Death Knight (and leveled her up through the starting area) and I've lvled Urður up to a 22 ( i want to lvl her up to 30 so I can lvl up her enchanting, lol). This might potentially become very time consuming so I'll have to make sure to stick to mostly the weekends. irda , I blame you for my addiction, darn it!!! At least I'm doing other productive stuff other than the computer, two times per week dancing, at least once per week swimming and all that. So, I guess I deserve a little computer time! :P I've been slacking of reading my friends page, I'll read up a bit over the weekend. Perhaps make a few icons? I don't want to forget all the cool new stuff causette taught me to do in photoshop. Aaah, the wonders of photoshop, will you never sease to amaze me? [EDIT] - I just had to share this, it's a facebook-fanpage for vegan vampires, now I think most of you know what I think of vegan vampires (not meant against Twilight, just the concept in general), but that is not why I had to share this, what I found funny was a comment on the page "i wouldnt mind edward sucking my blood.♥" - written on a fan page for VEGAN vampires, ROFL! I'm very amused (very easily). - Location:Work

| I had a very quiet and lovely weekend, to my great shame I went to sleep at like 21.30 on friday and slept like a baby. I bought a few LP records at Kolaportið, I know I shouldn't have but they were nice and cheap so I couldn't resist. One of of the records I got was Dolly Parton, who is awesome. I found a really nice Melanie LP but the sleeve was too bad and the record slightly scratched, and it still costed like ISK 2000, so I restrained myself. If you are on the other hand going to have a record collection (of expensive records), you do it properly or skip it, records costing ISK 200 can be slightly messed up, but you just don't buy a cool record like Melanie, or Led Zeppelin unless they are in mint condition (or close to it at least). I seem to be aquiring more and more quirks over the years, I've probably been single for too long.... I probably have to re-knit my dress, I think I made a fault in counting stitches, quite frustrating, but at least I hadn't gotten that far. It would be a shame to actually finish it and then it would look weird at the bottom. Feeling a bit "blaaah" today, must be the monday blues. I'll have to do something fun after work to cheer me up again. - Location:Work

| To my great surprise I thought My Bloody Valentine was good entertainment, and the 3D effect was incredible, I even got startled once cause of it. I got a bit of a headache after it actually, perhaps cause I had to wear my own glasses underneath. It was also fun to witness the reaction of the other girls, who sighed happily every time Jensen Ackles had a close up. Oh, and there was a very big sigh when he got wounded. I'm not sure why. Perhaps they are secret blood/gore admirers in the closet? Sadly I think it was more the half naked-ness than the blood. Anyway, the movie wasn't scary, it mostly produced laughs in the audience (a good laugh though), but good solid entertainment, which is not something you can often say about new horror movies (especially re-makes). I'll now have to watch the original, it feels like I've seen it before, but then again my memory is as always shitty and I've seen so much of these types of movies. I guess that next up is the remake of Friday the 13th, I'm not wild about the director, he did the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I didn't really like it. he also did a Frankenstein movie which I'm not wild about either. But then again, remakes have been surprising me lately so I'm not going to see it with a negative outlook, cause then I -know- I'll hate it. At least this is a good opportunity for me to show some of the HAGs the original (except causette of course), which is a masterpiece within its genre. Rob Zombie, now there is a guy I like, I had my doubts about him, but you know what you get when you go see his movies. He seems to be preparing to direct H2: Halloween 2, which was (sorry to say) bad the first time around, so how much worse could it get anyway? I love fridays, there is always breakfast at work (staff members take turn preparing it for the others), two day weekend ahead and a horror movie not far away. Lovely. - Location:Work

| One more example of what a good little minion I am, causette sent me an aim message telling me to call a certain number, without actually knowing where I was calling (and briskly stopping the conversation with my coworker who shares an office with me) I dialled the number not really knowing if I was dialing to a sex line or a "Vinalínan" (friend-line) or what the hell I was supposed to say when they answered. Fortunately for me, just before they answered she told me, so I didn't have the embarrassment of saying "urrrm, sooo, how about that weather, urm, where am I calling?". As it turned out, it was a local radio station and I got 6 tickets to see "My Bloody Valentine" tomorrow. I told him it was a group of 7 chicks going and he seemed very happy about that, even more happy when he recognized my last name. There is no hiding in a tiny country when you belong to a very small group who have last names/ family names. I actually started knitting yesterday! I'm gonna make a really cute dress that looks like this, except I'm doing it in a dark red colour. The knitting at the end is soooo hard, thank god I only have to do 5X4 rows of that pattern, but at least it's going to be very nice when I'm finished. I feel very accomplished and old, lol. I've also been on a health-diet freak-out, I'm swimming at least 3 times a week and I'm trying to diet. I'm getting so sick of not loosing weight! Why quit eating everything that's nice and then not see any progress??!? Bah, humbug! And lastly, here is a link to one of my favorite online comic, Chopping Block, (hilarous mass-murderer-movie jokes) who is finally starting to update again! </lj> - Location:Work

| | What Kind of Serial Killer Would You Be? Your Result: Organized Visionary You're a planner. You'd carefully plot each murder, and carry it out methodically. You'll kill them in one location and move them to another later, and you'll study up your forensic science. The good news is, you're much harder to catch. The reason for your killing is simple: you're delusional. You'll go absolutely bonkers and in your insane fantasies, you'll come up with a reason why someone must die. This is good, though. | This is one ecstatic Deppo reporting from her shiny new LJ. causette came over yesterday evening and made me a brand new, much needed new layout, I helped a little with the banner (mostly choosing the pictures) and she did the rest, like the angel she is! She also taught me a lot of new fun things to try out in photoshop, so in that spirit I made 3 new icons to go with my new theme. All the blood and gore and white and red really makes me feel like home! ;) causette , you really are my one and only favorite chocolate arse! The journal feels so much -neater- somehow. Tonight at HAG irda is gonna choose the movie, can't wait what she has chosen! This is turning out to be a good weekend, with My Bloody Valentine next week and other promising horror movies on their way, I think its safe to say that this year is very promising. I watched the Master's of Horror episode " Imprint" again the other night and wow, what a piece of art, it starts slowly but the big boom at the second part is much worth the waiting. I've been having a craving ever since to rewatch Itchi the Killer, but I don't think I can force that on some of my horror minions, it will have to be a private screening with causette , I'm sure she would love it. I'm starting a very weird Alice Cooper addiction, I don't know where it came from but it feels like it's here to stay. I mean really, the man is a genious: "I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name", that's a line that would make "Marquis de Sade" start humping his leg. It takes a special sort of guy to make that line feel romantic in some way... I've started Bollywood dancing with Þórhildur, it's so much fun and it's a good exercise too. I suck of course, but I don't really care, there's only four of us in class and we all pretty much suck. I also tried one class of bellydancing, but that's not as playful as the Bollywood one. Just you wait, one day I'll be able to dance along with the singing scenes in all the Bollywood movies, I'll become an entertainer and be rich rich rich! :P - Location:Home
